HOW IT WORKS
This solution is transparent and will create crystal clear full color designs on white cardboard. For standard brown cardboard you can print with black ink only. Only a small amount of the solution is needed. *Wipe excess solution away.
-
STEP 1
Coat your cardboard using the wool dauber. Cover the area you plan to press the design only.
STEP 2
Make sure the solution is dry before you proceed. This usually takes only a few minutes if the solution is a thin layer.
STEP 3
Set your press to 370 degrees and press the design for 40 seconds. You can both cold or hot peal.
*TIP
Converting the Epson 2800 Printer into a sublimation printer is simple—just use sublimation ink. When transforming any ink tank printer into a sublimation printer, remember that only sublimation ink should be used. Avoid using regular ink at any point if you intend to maintain the printer for sublimation purposes.

FAQs
Can you sublimate on cardboard boxes?
Yes, you can sublimate on cardboard boxes using our SubliSnap solution. The solution allows sublimation ink to bond to the cardboard, producing vibrant, permanent images. Just ensure the surface is properly coated and dried before applying heat.
Can you sublimate on other packaging?
Yes, SubliSnap is versatile and can be used on other types of packaging materials, such as paperboard and certain types of cardstock, and kraft tape. However, results may vary depending on the material, so it's recommended to test a small area first.
How much solution should I use?
The amount of solution you need depends on the size of the area you’re sublimating. For best results, apply an even, thin coat to cover the surface entirely. Typically, a light coating is sufficient; avoid oversaturating the cardboard, as too much solution may affect the quality of the transfer.
Is the solution permanent?
Yes, once sublimation is complete, the images transferred using SubliSnap solution are permanent. The solution creates a strong bond between the sublimation ink and the surface, ensuring that the image will not fade or peel over time.
